How to Send Shaving Products by Courier

Aftershaves and shaving equipment are very popular items for the well-groomed gentleman, but before sending aftershaves, there are a few points to consider. They are generally hazardous and are highly flammable, with most containing a mixture of alcohol and essential oils. Because of this highly flammable and potentially explosive nature, they can only be transported in limited quantities, on our road service, throughout the UK.
When sending aftershave and shaving equipment, please ensure that they are correctly packaged for transit. As the containers are made of glass, they are very fragile and can be damaged if not packaged correctly. When packing them, use the original box where possible and wrap them in an additional 2 to 3 layers of bubble wrap, before placing them into a larger box. If you are sending more than one aftershave in the same box, leave adequate space between the items. Any voids within the box can be filled with additional bubble wrap, or polystyrene packaging peanuts. Once packed inside the outer box, shake the items around, to check for any movement. If you can hear the items moving around, please add additional packaging materials. The idea is that the items should be sufficiently packed, to withstand them accidentally being dropped.
When you are happy with the packaging, please close the box and seal securely with 2 to 3 layers of strong parcel tape. All that is required now, is to attach your Overland Express parcel label.
